Gendered Barriers and Adaptive Strategies in Sustainable Ecosystem Management in Lupanda, Zimbabwe

A feminist political ecology analysis examining the structural, socio-cultural, and economic barriers that constrain rural women’s participation in sustainable ecosystem management (SEM) in Lupanda, Zimbabwe. The study highlights women’s adaptive strategies, indigenous ecological knowledge, and proposes the Gender–Ecosystem Governance Model (GEGM) as a framework for gender-responsive climate governance.
